what's goin' on

clouds float above you and me, , in the same sky.
sky has no border.

each one's power is small.
but when they're gathering, , it's so powerful and beautiful.

he's the stage-director of the show.
this deck is gonna be a stage for bride&groom and for the organ-player.

i can hear the music from this, , turntable, record, and needle =D
i went to the September concert last weekend as a photographer. it's a, , really really a intresting event for me.
pictures are gonna be uploaded soon later. i don't know exactly where though, , here or official-website. i'll notice when it's settled.
one more on-going project:
i'm gonna be a sound-engineer/DJ at my friend's wedding party in October. now i'm facing the preparation, , my bedroom is filled with lots of equipments. speakers, decks, my iBook, mixers, amps, cables and so on. . . i can't wait to play them at the venue (it's the outside party!!).

as busy like a bee

now i have some on-going projects besides my job.
they usually fill my mind and make me far away from shooting of "akbass". but it's OK. . . as interesting as fotopaging these are.
one of them:
i'm gonna be a volunteer cameraman of an event "September concert"
this is a series of free musical performances. the outline of this event is simple but heartfelt. Sep. 11, , the day into a day of sounds of music, acts of love, and wishes for peace.
this event was originally started on September 11, 2002, , in NYC.

and this year is the first time to be held in Japan.

the venue is not only one. indoor/outdoor, at a live house/at a park , , , everywhere throughout the city. so i do hopping around Tokyo by motorcycle, , from venue to venue, , like a flitting bee.
and taking pictures, , photoshooting with live music must be interesting eh? i know that i'm not an advanced/professional cameraman , , just a hobby shooter. but i DO LOVE music & pictures, , this is what i can help(and enjoy  ) this event as a volunteer.
one more thing that i'd like to say, , i took some pics on Sep. 11 last year. it was sunny Saturday, , i determined when i left home:
"i don't go home till i get photos with a theme, , 9/11."
and this year, i'm gonna try to think/express about "Peace"with another style...
anyway, purpose isn't a big matter i think. just going out & enjoy music, , i think it's must be a nice way to spend Sunday afternoon. artist/venue listings are on each website. if it's held near of your place, , how about some live music for free & enjoying a peaceful weekend?

fuji rock festival: pt3

there're 10 stages at this festival.
first 3 pictures is "avalon" stage, , this one is a special. electric power of this stage is supplied by solar, hydro, and bio-diesel fuel. i think it's very meaningful challenge for environmental friendliness.
even whether is a special effect at this kind of event. rain is a cooler, , thunder is a lighting.
i really enjoyed, , will go there when the next time is coming..
