Pict 1-3: Fundain temple
Pict 4-5: Nanzenji temple
Pict 6-8: Nanzenji Suirokaku aqueduct

the bridge in pict 6-8 was built in 1889,, not in 1300 or 1400 era.
but it fits to the scenery of ancient Kyoto.

old to the new, , it's also a good view..

Tohukuji temple:

it was a rainy day.
i think most of the photographer hate rain when they're traveling.

but for me not,, i loved solemn atmosphere here and the effect of natural foggy filter..

the dry garden in Ginkakuji temple.

this kind of garden is called "karesansui".
it's an artform of Zen buddhism,, representing natural landscapes(mountain, sea, islands,,,) with sands gravels and rocks.

but i don't care about rendering.
cool textures and linez are just attractive for me..

Shinto religion, , it doesn't usually have the particular "icon" like Christianity or Buddhism.
Instead,, natural simbols are the deity at each shrine. such as mountain, tree, and etc..

we could have a comfy day with the beautiful sky, warm sunlight, and refreshing stream of water.
thanks for mercy, mother nature..

i visited Kyoto last weekend , , i'll go on some kyoto sets.

Kyoto: it's the most famous tourist site in japan, , i bet you know that name.
the city of "world heritage"
and attractiveness of old japanese cultures are concentrated here!

sorry for dark pictures cuz the wether isn't so clear during my stay.
i'm not satisfied with the quality in some pictures but,
it's not cold so i really enjoyed strolling around temples and shrines

here we go, , start with kiyomizu-dera
